PASSEPORT BEAUTÉ DONATION CAMPAIGN FOR MALLEY PRAIRIE
We told you that one of our major projects for 2021 was to make a contribution to a number of important women’s causes.
That’s why we decided to dedicate one month a year to an awareness and donation campaign in collaboration with a local association. Following your votes on our various social networks, you have shown a particular interest in the fight against violence against women, particularly in the domestic context.
Malley Prairie reception center welcomes victims of violence
Once said, once done, we approached the Malley Prairie center, which takes in victims of domestic violence.
Of course, the focus here is on women, because they are the majority of those affected, but the foundation supports ALL victims, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
If you’re in this situation, you’re not alone. The association provides emergency assistance and protection for you and your children. The teams at your disposal will listen to you without judgment and show you the ways out of this situation.
In 2021, a feminicide pandemic
According to the SFSO, one person dies every two weeks from the consequences of domestic violence in Switzerland (statistics from 2009 to 2018). And this figure has soared even higher with the advent of containment(s). By March 2021, more than a dozen feminicides had already been recorded… there’s even talk of a “feminicide pandemic”.
Passeport Beauté takes a stand against violence against women
To do our bit, we’re organizing this donation campaign for the whole month of May 2021. For each Passeport Beauté purchased, CHF 20 will be donated to the Malley Prairie center ❤.
